TVGC Golf Instructors - Walt

Walt Abraham

Walt is a USGTF Master Golf Teaching Professional with 21 years experience. Recently named a Top 100 Teaching Professional 2016-17, by the World Golf Teaching Federation.

An accomplished player, he won the WGTF and USGTF Cup in 2007, 2008, and 2011 (various divisions), the 2008 Transbay, 2009 NCPGA Pro 6, and the USGTF SW region Championship in 2014. A Guest instructor at the LPGA Kraft-Nabisco 4 times and was the most requested return instructor. He has coached the Athenian Varsity Golf Team for 9 years, winning 6 league championships and instructing 6 league MVP's. Instruction in full swing, short game (including video), course management, and playing tips. Doppler radar also available.

John Joseph TriValley Golf Instructor


John Joseph

John has over forty years of professional teaching experience including twelve years here at Tri-Valley before heading out to Palm Springs for the past six years. We are thrilled to have him back with us now! John utilizes video to assess golf swing: grip, posture, and alignment, and finds it a valuable teaching tool. He offers lesson packs at a discount over individual lessons.

Hana Lee TriValley Golf Instructor


Hana Lee

Having grown up in the golf community and following the legacy of her father who played on KPGA tour, Hana has been in the golf industry most of her life with over 13 years of experience. She received a full-ride scholarship to Holy Names University, where she played as a top player for five years and was 3x Women’s Golf Coach Association All-American Scholar. She brings a combination of technical and mental training and elite competition experience to her lessons. She believes that an individual’s swing is dependent on the person’s body type, personal strengths, natural tendencies and flexibility. In addition, she provides a light and fun environment during her lesson while developing efficient programs suitable for each individual. With her passion for coaching junior golfers, Hana has coached at both the Nike Junior Camps and On the Green Golf Camp. She is also knowledgeable of the college recruiting process and has consulted with high school athletes for their recruitment efforts.

Dan Kim TriValley Golf Instructor


Hafsa Khan

Hafsa has 21 years of golf experience, 8 in private coaching. Hafsa started playing at the age of 4 and started competing at the age of 7. She played on the high school varsity golf team and later received a 4-year collegiate golf scholarship to CSUEB. After graduating in 2019 she turned professional.

With over 8 years of coaching her philosophy has been coach-player adaptability, using a player’s unique body and build to develop their golf game. Whether you’re a first-timer, a student-athlete, or a touring professional, she has been in your shoes and uses that familiarity for her client-focused approach for beginners and elite players alike. Hafsa offers swing coaching, course management and mental game, tournament prep, workout plans, and mentorship for prospective student-athletes of all levels including young children.
